Day 29

Although we only drove 3 hours south to my brother inlaw and sister inlaw’s, today was our first day on the road! I love my sweet sister inlaw and any chance we get to talk is a treat for us, who are busy with tiny kids. After supper her and I walked for 25 minutes sans children and it was really enjoyable! I’m going to call it a night!

We are about to leave on a two week road trip! This is going to be a challenge for me. Road trips are always tough because you eat CRAP because you are on the go. I’m going to try really hard not to do this. If we stop in at McD’s I will order a salad! πŸ™‚ It’s also going to be a challenge just because each day will be so different and unpredictable! I think I will bring my yoga DVD, and also plan on going for walks and doing some abs and stretches. I’m excited though, it’s going to be lots of fun. I WILL get through 24 hours of driving in the car with three little ones! (positive thinking does wonders.) I’m super excited for my best friends wedding! Story and I are both standing up in the wedding, and I’m just looking forward to lots of time with the girls, and being a part of her long awaited day! Then we’ll head to Florida to see Scott’s parents and some friends down there, not to mention sea world and the BEACH! ahhh πŸ™‚

Today I really felt a lack of energy. Uh, I still have this cough… think I should go to the Dr? But I still got out and did it. I went for a walk with Susanna in the jogging stroller. I have to say, I walked pretty darn fast too. Lucky girl, she got the ipod.Β  Last fall I picked up an ab lounge chair from Craigslist. I think I’m going to try to add some ab work on that every day too. Oh, don’t worry that time will count. πŸ™‚ So today I did about five minutes again on that.Β  It was pretty funny because the kids kept getting on my lap wanting a “ride” while I did my sit-ups in the chair.

It really was a busy day today and sooo… every little bit is going to count today!Β  Lets see, running around with the kids all day, we’ll count that as 8 hours? Making three meals plus scones today, 2 hours? Going to two meetings, 3 hours? Sound good?

Ok for real…

I was all set to sweat hard with Jillian tonight and even looking forward to it! BUT… my cough is a bit worse, and I’mΒ  wheezing so I decided to just do yoga, which was nice and relaxing. A few of those poses are really a challenge, and let me know that it’s so good for me to do! I want to be more limber! πŸ˜‰ I did the 3rd segment, and it too was great! I think it’s mostly the yoga that I like, the girl on the video is actually a bit cheesy, but I like it overall.

Aunt Sheryl asked me today if I’ve lost a few more lb. πŸ˜‰

Day 21- Three Weeks Baby!

Edit: Ok this is really weird guys. Yesterday Scott handed me a shirt with a stain down the front of it, and told me he thought it was caterpillar guts (joking). Well when I wrote this post I wrote THREE times “caterpillar” when i mean to write “grasshopper.” So I just now changed it! Am I going nuts?

Today I wentΒ  for a walk with the dog and the baby it the stroller (extra calories burned for pushing a stroller!) haha. I didn’t feel like it was as uplifting of a walk, but I still did it and it was fun to have little Noble with me. It’s definitely grasshopper season. I caught a grasshopper so Noble could see it.Β  He tried to grab it and it jumped away. I love when I get to experience something new with one of my kids; even something as simple as a grasshopper jump.

Dang, I just can’t kick this cough!

Day 21 -30 minute walk (uphill with a baby and dog! haha)

I tried the first segment of the 10 minute solutions, hip hop dance today. It was ok, I think I will like it better when I get the moves down πŸ˜‰

I also did about 20 minutes of the stretches my chiropractor gave me to do.

Day 20 -10 hip hop video, 20 minutes of stretches.
